Greater Boston Drama Studio Classes - FALL 2008.
The following classes will take place once a week in a nine-week session.
Classes begin the week of September 16th and end the week of November 18th with a week of showcases.
There is a week of FREE CLASSES beginning September 9th for registered students and for those wishing to try out a class!
Ages 4 1/2 - Grade 2
Tuesdays 4:30-5:15pm,Wednesdays 4:30-5:15pm, Thursdays 10:00-10:45am Thursdays 4:15-5:00pm
Make Believe
This introductory drama class for young children focuses on music and acting exercises that emphasize listening and cooperation. The students use their imaginations in pairs and as a group as they create a unique ensemble based showcase at the end of the session.
Grade 3- Grade 6

Funky Folktales
Grade 3 -Grade 6
Thursdays 5:15-6:30
Musical Scenes and Games
In this drama class, music and acting exercises are the main focus. Students learn a scene from a Broadway musical that incorporates acing as well as musicality and movement. All scenes and songs will be presented at the fall showcase.
Grade 7 - Grade 12
Wednesdays 5:30-6:45
Advanced Acting
This class is reserved for those students who have a committed interest in learning how to act as an ensemble, explore scene work and research solo material. This class will be assigned challenging scenes that will force the actors to create truthful characters. Improvisation will also be an integral part of class. Rehearsal outside the class may be required for some material.
